This week Washingtonpost.com added a content recommendation widget to all article pages. The Evri Widget launches on article pages as they are posted on the site with the goal of helping washingtonpost.com’s readers discover related content from the newspaper and from across the Web that complement the articles they are reading.
The widget suggests additional relevant articles to readers based on Evri’s semantic understanding of how the people, places and things in the current article being read are connected to other people, places and things being discussed on the Web.
In addition to providing more resources, the widget can help washingtonpost.com boost time on the site usage as readers navigate the widget to go deeper into a story.
Evri is based in Seattle and is funded by Paul Allen‘s Vulcan Capital.
