Well, not exactly. Warner Music Group just created a new division for “alternative programming,” encompassing cellphones, computers, and cable TV. The division is called Den of Thieves, and will be headed by former MTV executive Jesse Ignjatovic and music veteran Evan Prager, according to RCR Wireless News.
The goal is to work with Warner Music Group’s various record labels to create special content that goes with album releases and other projects. Still, we find the title Den of Thieves to be more than a bit ironic, given Warner Music Group’s propensity to sue anyone who doesn’t go for their restrictive online music copy protection.
