Watch the Premiere of the Bloody First Scene of Conan Via Twitter

Lionsgate is kicking off Comic-Con a day early with the premiere of the bloody first scene from Conan, exclusively on Twitter!

#whenbloodisspilled, legends are made.

The social media campaign will surely get your heart racing and blood flowing, the first scene from Conan The Barbarian in 3D is now live and is the first red band clip to debut exclusively on Twitter. In case you didn’t know, red band clips are for mature audiences and stem from R-rated movies. Usually, there is an age gate, which means you have to enter your birth date. But, it is based on the honor system, so if you are under age, you can lie. But, I wouldn’t lie because if the spirit of Conan finds out…well, it is too awful to say what he will do. So, that might or might not interest you to see the clip via Twitter.

What happens #whenbloodisspilled? Tweeters can now check out some serious Barbarian ass kicking, and see the origins of the boy who becomes a legend.

Lionsgate hopes the social media escapade pays off and you will want more of Conan. It will be interesting to watch and see how the Twitter promotional campaign works. I am sure it will be a success and more studios will hold similar social media campaigns.

If you like what you see, be sure to check out the bloodiest action epic in years when it comes to theaters everywhere August 19th. Conan The Barbarian in 3D, starring Jason Momoa, Ron Perlman, Stephen Lang and Rose McGowan, follows Conan’s quest across the continent of Hyboria, as he fights to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village.
