Where To Watch Live Online As Hurricane Sandy Hits The East Coast

From North Carolina to New York, people are holed in their apartments and houses, waiting to see what Hurricane Sandy has in store and you can follow the progress of the “Frankenstorm” live on the web.

The Weather Channel is currently streaming live on their YouTube Channel, so you don’t even have to turn on your television to get your fix of live footage and alerts, from blizzard warnings to flash floods and more.

Livestream is also streaming coverage of the storm on what they are calling their “Sandycam”.  Sandycam is a Livestream Storm Cam located on top of Livestream’s World Headquarters in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York City.  Coverage also includes live weather updates and alerts.

You can also check out the latest crowd-sourced coverage of the storm on CitizenTube.  CitizenTube features a stream of videos, curated by Storyful, uploaded to YouTube by those affected by the storm.  Check out some of the most popular videos from the stream in the playlist below and let us know what you think.
