Who Needs Google Glass When We Can Use These Contact Lens Wearable Computers

In the near future, you’ll be able to use a more discreet technology to access the internet using contacts with light emitting diodes.

Developed by Jang-Ung Park at the Ulsan National Institute of Technology and Sung-Woo Nam of the University of Illinois, the new transparent eyewear is the first of its kind to be comfortable enough for lab rabbits who showed no eye trauma after continuous 5 hours of use. The wearable computer uses advanced nanotech to combine graphene and silver.

The researchers believe that the new technology will be a great asset for medical research and possibly health related applications as bio-sensors.
