Data wonks interested in Windows Phone 7 will definitely want to take a look at the:

It tracks the Windows Phone 7 app market and reports a number of interesting items (as of the wee hours of Feb. 8, 2011).

- 7696 apps being tracked
- 70% of apps are paid. 30% are free
- Average app price is $2.35
- Nearly 4000 (more than half) apps are priced at 99 cents
- The largest app category is games (23%)

FYI: According to AppShopper, the total number of available iPhone apps is about 313,000 (by comparison).
