WorldNowLogo.jpgWorldNow news-organization customers that are already members of The Associated Press can now receive direct access to enhanced AP Online content following an agreement between the two companies.

AP Online features several-hundred daily stories covering national, international, entertainment, health, science, technology and other news, written specifically for Web publication, many with images and related news video.

WorldNow vice president of business development Ross Cohen said:

Providing a seamless integration with direct access to AP’s content is an excellent opportunity for our stations.

WorldNow chief operating officer and chief financial officer Bob Mischel added:

This deal allows our clients easy access to AP’s outstanding and comprehensive news coverage. It aligns with our goal to provide our clients with the best possible resources for supplementary content.

And AP director of broadcast markets for the Americas Dave Gwizdowski concluded:

The relationship with WorldNow helps to drive the value of AP content online with a faster and more efficient content vehicle for WorldNow and its AP member clients. Our valued relationship with WorldNow dates back to its inception as a company, and this latest step will greatly increase the national and international news content on the AP member Websites in the WorldNow network.
