documents freeAre you a reporter in the field who is always on deadline? Or perhaps a novelist that gets ideas on the subway? Then you should check out Documents Free, a mobile office suite that lets you do word processing on your iPhone or iPad.

The app from SavySoda is a free alternative to Microsoft’s Office app, which requires a subscription to use. Documents Free includes document editing tools, as well as tools to save photos, create spreadsheets and even draw. So it could work quite well as your mobile office. You can go in and edit files as well as print them out once you are done.

You can also save all of the files by emailing them to yourself or saving them to your Google or Dropbox account. (Via USA Today).
