Write On Android Phones With Graffiti

Long time PDA users will probably appreciate this news more than newer smartphone users, but the company that owns the rights to the Palm OS character recognition system has made an Android keyboard for Graffiti. You use Graffiti by writing characters in an input box the size of a normal Android keyboard.

Graffiti has a unique character set for writing letters with a single stroke that makes character recognition nearly flawless. Long time Palm users who have Graffiti memorized and have moved over to Android might appreciate using this old input method. I found that tracing the Graffiti characters on the screen with your finger works surprisingly well, and works very well with the Pogo Sketch stylus.

If you are interested in trying Graffiti you can download it for free from the Android Market.
