WSJ.com, the online home of the Wall Street Journal, is launching an “Add to Foursquare” feature to its website. the feature will be attached to food and culture stories on the site. If a user is reading a restaurant review, clicking the button will add it to their Foursquare to-do list, along with tips from journal editors and a direct link to the review on the mobile device.
“Working with a network like Foursquare is about getting the right content to the right people at the right time,” said Kevin Delaney, managing editor of WSJ.com. “By integrating Foursquare functions with Wall Street Journal editorial content, we are making that content even more relevant and useful to those who rely on our coverage to help plan their activities.”
The WSJ was one of the earliest media companies to partner with Foursquare, developing custom badges for power users.
