Editor & Publisher has the April numbers from Nielsen Online Media. WSJ.com saw record traffic last month — 12.4 million unique visitors, up 160% from last year. Meanwhile, traffic to the The New York Times’ Web site was down by 8% compared to last year. A Times spokeswoman told E&P they are looking into the numbers because they “believe their data is in error.” Despite the dip, the NYTimes.com remains number one among online newspapers.
