Yahoo and Rogers, Canada’s largest wireless company, have joined forces to expand their broadband alliance to the mobile sector, according to a MediaPost report.

“The new pact will continue to provide Rogers’ high-speed Internet access customers with a customized Yahoo portal and browser. But it also extends Yahoo’s mobile offerings–including its Go 2.0 set of applications and search service–to Rogers’ wireless subscribers.”

Beginning in the next few weeks, Rogers subscribers will be able to use Yahoo’s various mobile products, such as Yahoo! Go 2.0 (including Flickr and Maps), local listings, OneSearch, and more. In fact, OneSearch will now be Roger’s default search provider on their mobile Internet portal.
