Yoono wants a spot on your desktop. The social-network-aggregating and media-hub plug-in for Internet Explorer and Firefox will launch a desktop version, according to TechCrunch.
Yoono aggregates content from Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, AIM, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Flickr, Friendfeed and other sites.
The start-up company has been busy, also recently launching the ability to share pages, videos and images; real-time search powered by OneRiot; and a new version of its Firefox plug-in that integrates Twitter search and notifications when new results are available, according to TechCrunch.
Its new desktop app is a stand-alone version of its browser add-on, with the same capabilities and features, TechCrunch reported.
