In a move to accommodate HD, YouTube doubled its upload limit to 2 gigabytes from 1 GB, but non-partner videos are still capped at 10 minutes, NewTeeVee reported.

The video-sharing site also simplified the code for embedding HD videos, according to NewTeeVee.

The upload limit jumped from 100 megabytes to 1 GB last September.
