YouTube has recently rolled out a new feature which would bring television shows and movies of its content partner to the YouTube stream. With this new feature, YouTube users would be able to enjoy watching tv show episodes and movies from content owners such as CBS, MGM, Lionsgate, Starz and Crackle. And since these content are under the YouTube video stream, you can comment on this video contents as well as share them with your friends and family. You can access this new contents by simply clicking on the new “Shows” tab listed under the Yahoo masthead. You can browse TV shows by genre, network, title and popularity. In addition to this, you can also see the new “Subscriptions” tab which if you have logged-in to your YouTube account will give you access to the newest video from the YouTube content partners.

But of course like all good new things, this feature comes catch. And that is through in-stream ads which YouTube have been testing since October last year.

This new YouTube feature is currently available for YouTube users in the U.S. only. But the good news is, YouTube plans/hopes to roll out this feature to other regions as well. But for the subscriptions feature, you can start using it in the next few weeks. And you can have this feature no matter where you are located.
