YouTube drew more than half of all Web video streams last month in the U.S. 130 million Web users called up more 9.6 billion video streams last month. That’s up 9% over February and up nearly 40% over March ’08, Nielsen Online reports.
TVWeek reports, streams per viewer (74.4) increased almost 7% and the total minutes of online video watched per viewer (190.7) was up 13% from the month before.
YouTube had 5.5 billion total streams among 89.4 million unique viewers. Hulu.com had 348.5 million total streams and 8.9 million unique visitors. Yahoo! had 231.8 million total streams and 24.8 million unique viewers.
