YouTube.jpgABC News is reporting that YouTube co-founder Steve Chen said consumers in many parts of the world will have access to the popular video-sharing Web site on their mobile phones by next year.

“Videos of between 30 to 60 seconds could best serve the needs of commuters on subways or buses, while files of up to 10 minutes will be sufficient for train riders,” he said in the article.

Currently, you can get (very) limited access to YouTube through some Verizon phones, but that exclusive agreement between Verizon and YouTube will end this month.
