Zannel announced an instant media forum to cover the final presidential debate, as well as the remaining days leading up to Election Day. The company launched two online channels, PoliticsBlue (www.zannel.com/politicsblue) and PoliticsRed (www.zannel.com/politicsred), which are dedicated to political discourse from both Democrat and Republican perspectives, respectively.

Anyone who wants to “follow” PoliticsBlue or PoliticsRed will receive real-time alerts whenever Zannel’s citizen journalists post new video, images or text via their mobile phones. The company hopes to capitalize on what is turning out to be a significant contingent of self-starting bloggers, videographers, tweeters, and other new media activists who are all using cell phones to capture photos, video clips, and text commentary.

To sign up for one of the channels, either text DEM to 58888 or REP to 58888.
